How do I park during the 2024 Paris events?

After a century of waiting, the Events are returning to the City of Light. But this grandiose event also poses a considerable logistical challenge, particularly in terms of traffic and parking.
The introduction of reserved lanes for authorised vehicles and secure perimeters around the sports venues, as well as the huge crowds expected (16 million spectators and visitors expected), will have one tangible consequence: getting around and parking during the Events in Paris may well be a miracle. Fortunately, you can always rely on the car parks to park your vehicle and enjoy the events with complete peace of mind. Q-Park can help you find the ideal parking spaces close to the events venues.

The challenge of parking in Paris during the Events of this summer

The Events will be taking place in and around Paris, as well as in other parts of the Île-de-France and the rest of France. In the capital, the sites reserved for the events (Eiffel Tower Stadium, Bercy Arena, Paris Nord or Sud Arena, Grand Palais, Invalides, La Concorde, Paris La Défense Arena, Parc des Princes, Roland-Garros Stadium, Saint-Denis Aquatic Centre, etc.) will be closed to all unauthorised vehicles: these traffic restrictions concern security zones, known as ‘red perimeters’ and ‘blue perimeters’.

Only authorised persons - private individuals and professionals who have a residential parking space, a private car park or a subscription to a public car park, subject to registration on a dedicated platform - will be able to drive and park their vehicles within these perimeters. Pedestrians, cyclists and (non-motorised) scooter users will not be affected by these restrictions.

In short, it will be impossible to access the sites of the Events by private car if you are not authorised to circulate and park during the Paris Events. The solution? Opt for parking close to the venues or in a car park on the outskirts of the capital, then travel by public transport.
